About the Creator
Elgin Bolling has been a professional artistsince age eight, when he illustrated his first book, Mother, These Are My Friends, for Author Mary Anne Gross. Since that time he has worked as a Professional artist drawing caricature live for corporate parties and special events. In addition he has done storyboarding and animation work for film and advertising firms, and writes a popular column on All Experts.com Extreme Life drawing, or Subwaysurfing is Elgin's passion as he daily captures his fellow commuters on the subwaytrains in NYC. Subwaysurfing has helped me to make wonderful connections with people, and has contributed to making the subway car a more festive place, at least, when Im there! What I do is a type of visual storytelling. My caricatures are not just about "making fun" although you may laugh along the way. I CELEBRATE faces in all their wonder and diversity. There is no such thing as an "ugly face" It all depends on how you look at it> I look through a funhouse mirror.
