About the Ebook
The southwest area of Utah is home to numerous parks including Great Basin, Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Kodachrome State Park, Devil's Garden along the Hole-in-the-Wall Road, Boulder Mountain and the Burr Trail of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The
combination of moderate temperatures, low sun angle, the possibility of storm clouds and autumn color make October and early November one of my favorite times to photograph here. In the Fall, Great Basub, Zion
Canyon, Boulder Mountain and the Burr Trail can be ablaze with reds and yellow leaves. The arches and hoodoos of the Devil's Garden provide
wonderful textures and shadows for dramatic infrared images. Bryce Canyon's elevation of over 8000 feet makes it a candidate for early winter storms which decorate the hoodoo with a blanket of snow. My images
were captured on digital cameras in both conventional color and monochromatic infrared photography.
