About the Book
this body of work was not declared a formal series until it’s completion. when i turned 20, i began to realize how ephemeral adolescence truly is. glancing back at these images, i could hear the buzz of streetlights in winter, smell the streaks of champaka wavering around my room, taste the wrenched liquor consumed in basements, and feel the uncomfortable hug of humidity in summer. they all seemed to resemble one another; performing careless actions that now feel unattainable or distant. the time feels necessary to finally let these images bloom - for hopefully you can draw a connection to your own experiences.
