About the Book
Silent Strength is an open dialog of the imprisonment of abuse and the discovery of the wealth that comes from freeing ourselves. 100 percent of all writer proceeds will be donated to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. It’s written in anger, depression, and in deeply sad moments. It is also written in times of awareness, bliss and extreme growth with a fundamental belief that with self-reflection and self-love we can recognize ourselves as chosen souls in a harsh world.
What set her apart was the resiliency found within her distorted identity; the peace found within her troubled soul; the compassion found within her aching heart; the intuition found within her battered psyche; and the purity found within her violated body. Our captivity from the “normal” world has kept us free from the world. We are in fact in the world, not of it. May our misfortune be a beacon of light, strength and unconditional compassion.
