About the Book
As a photographer I find beauty in aged or forgotten textural spaces around me and their juxtaposition to luscious new textures. Structure is always important to me as I generally work with off-center arrangements or bold-macro compositions. This enhances the opposition between a hard, neglected space and the curves of the human figure. The colors I use are inherent in the message I am trying to convey.
This collection of images is inspired by the spaces and people that surround my everyday life. After compiling the collection, it is obvious, though unintentional, that the all-around essence of my subjects is captured in the textural spaces around them.
