About the Book
In 2013 an exalted group of actors came together to perform two rehearsed readings of Shakespeare’s “King Lear” in aid of the motor neurone disease charity, www.mndassociation.org.
Directed by Jonathan Miller and starring Joss Ackland,
the readings were performed at the Old Vic and St. James theatres in London. The rehearsals took place at the Old Vic theatre.
This is their first day of rehearsals.
