About the Book
'three'
The pictorial story behind the 'three' AFL Sydney Senior Premiership wins by the East Coast Eagles Football Club from 2009 to 2011.
I have been covering the AFL Sydney League since 2008 as the official photographer for the League.
Across the course of those four years I have only seen two clubs win the premiership. The Pennant Hills Demons and The East Coast Eagles.
During this period I have amassed over 40,000 images covering the league and this book is just a small representation of the East Coast Eagles and their 'three' Senior Premiership wins from 2009 to 2011.
In that time I have met some great people who have put in so much effort to bring the Eagles to where they are today and without their help this book would not be possible.
I would like to make special thanks to the East Coast Eagles Football Club, AFL Sydney and Garry Burkinshaw, all the players either in this book or who have contributed to the club, Peter Physick for all his help not only with this book but over the years, Rowan Bilkey for his efforts in getting the book to this stage and my girlfriend Brenda for being so supportive of my work and me being away on so many weekends to cover this great game.
It has been my pleasure to produce the book you see before you today.
