About the Book
On January 10th, 2009, Vincent Mounier and his wife Marie left Cape Town at the wheel of a fully loaded Toyota Landcruiser. They came back two weeks later having driven close to 5000 km, one-third of which was on dirt roads. They had crossed the South African border into Namibia, pushed on north as far as the incredible Namib Desert, traveled far inland to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and its 40°C in the shade, dashed back to the temperate Atlantic Coast and returned to the Cape. This is the colorful and often humorous story of their trip, accompanied by over 70 stunning photographs.
