About the Book
The photography featured here is representative of what caught my eye during a 22 day journey on Route 66 in September of 2025.
I found myself being attracted to various scenes in the ever-changing surroundings such as the landscapes and the vastness they often offered in the west as well as by the small towns (sometimes struggling towns) we traversed. I also truly enjoyed the historical aspects and references to the 1940s and 1950s with the old motels, their signs, the vintage cars, and numerous gas stations.
