About the Book
Travel Journals is a self-published photography and travel magazine built around a simple premise: images deserve to be printed. Each issue follows a single journey — photographs, reflections, and the technical details behind both — collected into something you can hold in your hands. This is the first one.
For this inaugural issue, I travelled to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, in the northeastern Brazilian state of Maranhão. As someone who has lived abroad long enough to see my homeland with fresh eyes, I documented the trip from the colonial streets of São Luís to the shifting white dunes and lagoons of the park — ending at the remote Black River delta, where dark water meets the Atlantic far from any tourist trail.
Consider this an open invitation to retrace the journey as a fellow companion, one photograph at a time.
