He painted in his spare time, little by little, a process he would compare to, much like gardening. It begins with the humble life of a seedling, progresses through growth, blossoming, and the eventual yield of fruits. Birds, animals come, feeding on the sweet fruits, and helping to spread the seeds. The narrative in each painting, in the same light, is a fragment, and as a whole, an epitome of Tomio’s life experience.
