About the Creator
Gail Crane started writing in her twenties, producing articles and short stories for magazines, stories for children's comics, and numerous verses for greetings cards, until the demands of family, a full time job, and setting up and running a business, meant writing took a back seat, and it wasn't until she retired, that she began writing seriously again. She has published two romance novels, inspired by the moors and coast of Exmoor where she lives, and her short stories have been published in magazines, and as collections in books. Her growing interest in the history of Exmoor and its people, inspired her first non-fiction work, The Murder of Anna Maria, the true story of notorious Exmoor murderer, William Burgess. In 2014 she successfully completed a BA (Hons) degree with Open University, studying creative writing. She is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association and the Alliance of Independent Authors.
