About the Book
Unlike many photographic projects, Simple Truths (and Complex Lies) is not about getting a good idea and running with it. Instead, it is about getting very many good ideas and running with all of them simultaneously — like a juggler trying to get just one more ball into the air while riding a unicycle on ice. The result of this activity is part autobiography, part confession, and part critical evaluation of whatever gets in my path.
