About the Book
As a child, the annual camping holiday to the Norfolk coast holds many memories. Of course, back then It was all about kite flying, sandy sandwiches and walking barefoot through the prickly dune grass between tent and beach. Returning to the Norfolk coast, some 35 years later, I felt a little nostalgic. However, the greatest feeling was one of opportunity; a chance to see this wonderful location through my eyes as an artist. I am now an individual who appreciates the simplest things, I take the time to recognise what it is that I find beautiful and why. The final piece of the puzzle is to bring this to life using my camera.
The images within this project ‘The Norfolk wind blows the sand and sculpts the sea’ were created in response to the feelings and emotions, and elements of the landscape that I noticed during my time on the coast.
