About the Book
According to a Gallup poll cited in the scholarly journal "Frontiers in Psychology," forty-one percent of Americans agreed with the statement: “I have had a profound religious experience or awakening that changed the direction of my life.” Twenty-five percent of the respondents were not even religious. The story of Frostbit Sage is about one such non-religious person whose direction in life was changed in much the same way that a person driving down the street has their direction in life changed by a meteor striking their car. Some call that kind of awakening a spiritual emergency, a shattering of one's world view that can take days, weeks, years, and even decades to fully integrate into a new (inner) world order. It's the adventure of a lifetime, and the reward is a fuller sense of one's wholeness and humanity, not to mention winning the philosopher's stone along the way, as well as a skeleton key to the wellspring of well-being.
