      About the Book

      Edit

Issue 10 features the best works we received from our inaugural Art and Writing Contest. We invite you to immerse yourself in the historical amnesia of Japanese Internment Camps with Art Winner Miye Sugino’s Atlantis, Reimagined, or place yourself in the identity of a teenager grappling with cultural traditions with Poetry Winner Daniel Liu’s A Good Chinese Son, or dive into the lives of three girls struggling to find themselves in the magical sea that is Prose Winner Harsimran Kaur’s We Are the Orphans. These three winning works, along with our runner-up and finalist works were selected out of hundreds of submissions to the contest and stood out as the most compelling, bold, gorgeous, and exciting.
