About the Book
This book is dedicated to every little baby that left us too soon. It's been over fifteen years since I had a miscarriage and planted a daisy in our backyard to honour and remember our little Angel. But it wasn't till this past Spring that I discovered the significance of a daisy. What made me curious about its meaning was the sight of a daisy in our new backyard that planted itself.
There is an ancient Celtic legend that says daisies were sprinkled on Earth by God during times of tragedy. These tragic times were usually when an infant suffered an untimely death. God would spread daisies to help the parents heal.
I hope that this short book can bring a bit of closure and comfort to those who have lost a little Angel like mine.

Magic Tree Photography
Ottawa, ON, Canada
My work focuses on nature, it’s beauty, the beauty of simplicity, the magic of the moment and my love for what has been forgotten. In the recent year have been focused on building my portfolio in the direction of Fine Art Photography and creating art mainly using alternative photographic processes. For myself, creating a photograph from scratch is exhilarating and meditative. From making a pinhole camera to developing the print by hand...it’s exciting to let go and embrace the imperfections that come with the process. My long term goal is to build on my love for photography and share it with others by offering workshops for children and adults in my community.
