Bill King is a musician/photojournalist whose credits go back to the ‘60s as music director for Janis Joplin, the Pointer Sisters, Martha Reeves and many others. He’s also an award-winning producer and the artistic director of the Beaches International Jazz Festival. A former producer/broadcaster at Toronto’s Jazz.FM 91, he currently serves as music director for the Ted Woloshyn Show on Newstalk1010. King’s productions and mentoring helped launch the careers of three prominent Canadian singers: Liberty Silver, Sophie Milman and Shakura S’Aida.

Besides being an active musician, composer and arranger for 25 years, Bill King has channeled his twin passions of photography and travel into the professional realm. His credits include more than 20 CD covers, numerous concert images in magazines and newspapers, and three major exhibitions as part of Contact Photography.
