After hairdressing for 20 years I was looking for a hobby to break up my working week. I'd always loved shoes and had many pairs so thought it would be great to make a pair by hand like i'd seen the Italian men around Sydney do. I found the School of Footwear at UTS and enrolled in a class called custom made footwear and after the first lesson I was hooked. I spent the next 10 years there part time doing every single class they had, now my hobby is taking over, cool.
