Taya Meeikeaw was born and raised in Thailand by her Thai mother and Chinese father before moving to Australia. Taya is a qualified Chef with over 10 years of industry experience, operation as Head Chef at her very own Thai eatery, My Thai Kitchen. In 2009 Taya began formally teaching scrumptious recipes, sharing her passion for South East Asian cooking Australia. Taya’s kids and adults cooking classes are now highly regarded as one of Brisbane’s best unique fully hands on cooking experiences, filled with fun and laughter. She currently lives happily in sunny Brisbane, Australia with her cat "Ish.
