About

Carlos Rosas became fascinated by photography at the age of 13, when his mother gave him his very first camera as a gift. It was a 1950 Kodak Brownie, and Carlos enthusiastically used it to take pictures of local architecture, cars and family get-togethers. As art captivated him and his passion for it grew stronger, he began studying holography in addition to photography and film. When the opportunity presented itself, he attended The Los Angeles School of Photography, where he studied theory and gained more experience. During his time there, Carlos honed his photographic abilities and learned new techniques that he eagerly started using in his own work. Compelled by the potential he saw in his vision of the world; Carlos found unique, photojournalistic ways to show those who viewed his works the extraordinary stories of ordinary things they interacted with on a daily basis, as well as sharing his own personal experiences with others.
