About the Book
Is it inspired by Monty Python or Escher? Sometimes erotic, spooky, disorienting or sublime - it makes you think and laugh. This book is Alexander Huber's latest work. He is a lifelong artist in film, photography and textiles. Recently he combined the last two skills to make a collection of collages from magazine cut outs with paper, glue and the occasional splash of paint.
This book is a collection of his works made between 2013 and 2016. The originals were all either 30 × 30, 40 × 40 or 24 × 30 cm. Each one is accompanied by an excerpt from Shakespeare's love sonnets in English and German. He is acknowledged in both the English and German speaking worlds as the master of his art.
