About the Creator
The mission of the Cuban American Phototheque Foundation, (the PHOTOTHEQUE), is to advance public knowledge and appreciation of Fine Art Photography and to enhance the cultural experience of the residents and visitors in South Florida. Since its inception in 2012, PHOTOTEQUE has presented over 50 exhibitions, bringing the work of more than 200 photographers and other artists to the public in one-person and group exhibitions. Also, it has provided various classes and workshops for the public. In addition, PHOTOTHEQUE has acquired important historical and contemporary images through an acquisitions committee and through donations and bequests from photographers and collectors.
