About the Book
In September of 2017 we spent 10 days on the Faroe Islands with a rental car and a map full of locations to visit.
The defining feature of the Faroe Islands is water; water in the form of rain, water in the form of rivers and streams, and water in the form of waterfalls.
The other defining feature is churches; with traditionally most men out at sea and, no doubt, many left at sea, it is no wonder that so many churches are lined up with the ocean. The churches of the Faroe Islands are some of the most picturesque I have seen.
The colours of the Faroe Islands are all muted shades of grey, brown and green, this worked out perfectly in black and white.
