About the Book
Years ago, Texas towns had movie theaters on their main streets, and they were as common as the drugstore soda fountain or the community Baptist church. Most of them have been demolished. The ones that remain have turned into churches or businesses, and a few (bless them) still show movies. 'Last Picture Shows' is a photo collection of what has become of the Texas theaters still standing.
