About the Book
It is a reminder that whilst I must have empathy & be considerate of my actions, I must just as importantly insist on the same in return.
I must maintain my own dignity as I define it & not let others dictate who I choose to be.
I am fallible & will make mistakes but I am also humble & wish to learn and grow.
That is the concept of Lenity.
It is how I choose to carry myself in life & is my gift to distribute to those who wish to receive it.
May it inspire those who’s burdens are heavy...
Lenity requires nothing from you except the willingness to change.
To be a Christian or a Buddhist for example you must act or behave in a certain way - be programmed into a behaviour.
Lenity is a mindset - a state of mind to change the world for the better.

About the Creator
I am a former charity worker from England. Even more so now as a parent - I advocate the concept of Lenity - a belief system where personal responsibility is of the highest importance. I have always felt that regular prayer or worship does not therefore grant a free pass to selfishness or bias. A person may well be a "good" christian for example but they complete this process much like learning dance moves. Yet they often fail to stop judging others or even worse begin to dictate how they believe others should behave. Lenity reminds us to be the best versions of ourselves without it being out of touch with our modern lives. I am a student of Islam, Christianity, Taoism & Wicca amongst others but I still believe Lenity to be a vital component lacking in our daily lives regardless of any core faith & values.
