About the Creator
Sherwyn Leslie never set out to write romance. As a teenager, she knew someone who was a voracious romance novel reader. So Sherwyn decided to read one for herself, retrieved from the county library shelf (about a cowboy, she thinks), to discover what all the fuss was about. "You've read one, you've probably read them all," was Sherwyn's conclusion upon finishing it. So with the exceptions of the classics, PRIDE AND PREJUDICE and THE PRINCESS BRIDE (plus a certain trilogy by E. L. James she was "forced" into), she's had no interest in reading anything romantic since. So you can imagine the irony she felt, when the story of Lou and Ardent (the heroine and hero of her novel, THE RIME OF THE BLACKBERRY QUEEN) started forming in Sherwyn's head and she was compelled to write it down, to find out what might happen next! "If best-selling, first-time book author Ms. James can do it, I can do it," was Sherwyn's hope. So she gave it a shot, and a fairy tale romance novel was born.
