About the Book
Basically, cooking is the book to get you started on the path to becoming a better, more efficient home cook. I found my greatest health when I really evaluated my relationship with food and how it was created. I've spent years now, learning, practicing, writing, and experimenting with everything in my kitchen. I've been able to draw from experiences, from my childhood growing up in South Carolina, to all of my excursions across varying continents. My knowledge gave rise to all of these recipes, and my drive to create real food from real ingredients adds an extra component that is lacking in mainstream "food" today.

Willie Bush, a native of South Carolina who developed an appreciation for good food at an early age. Over time this led him to many failed attempts at being a great self-taught cook. However, continued practice and a desire to change his health changed all of that. In the midst of receiving a B.A. in Biology while minoring in chemistry and Spanish he studied abroad in Spain and studied under Chef Monje.
