About the Creator
Gene Lybarger is a retired US Army Warrant Officer from El Paso, TX. Photography has been a hobby of his for over 40 years. 10 years ago, he began underwater photography and was fascinated at the beauty of nature in the oceans of the world. This underwater photographic fascination, renewed his passion for above water photography. When his wife retired three years ago, they became full-time RVr’s and travel the United States extensively photographing the sights along the way. He has been a wildlife photographer and enthusiast for the past three years. He is actively teaching others various genres of photography and has recently been awarded numerous international photography awards for his wildlife and landscape photos. He is in demand for speaking engagements and workshops in the winter months when he stops travelling and resides in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The works of Joel Sartore, Ansel Adams, Ian Plant continue to inspire him to grow in his photographic knowledge.
