About the Creator
Alicia Gavin is an American student currently studying Journalism, Arabic and French. She hopes to pursue a career in production as a videographer with NGOs and Humanitarian organisations serving the people of the Middle East. She first was introduced to photography while working with the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps as a Public Affairs Officers for FTIG Combined Training Command. She has studied abroad and taken her camera with her, exploring the world through her lens. Her work has taken her to the Middle East and Eastern Europe where she sought out children, hoping to raise awareness of the effect of conflict on our world's most precious and vulnerable.
