About the Book
Abstract: Pigeons have always fascinated me. The idea that they have the ability to hop into the sky and go wherever their wings take them is inspiring and has captivated me my entire life. I explain my history with pigeons and how I came to photographing and documenting the release of Racing Homers. I briefly speak about my relationship with the birds, my artistic influences, and how my work falls in with ideas of the Sublime. The paper describes how I utilize photographic imagery to share visions of relationships and experiences with the viewer, ultimately illustrating the passion that I feel for pigeons and everything they have to offer.
