About the Book
Dr. Frederick W Albertson lived through a tumultuous time in history–from the end of the Old West’s lawlessness and Indian uprisings, through the Great Depression, the Great Drought, World War I and World War II. Yet he maintained his optimism and concern for the well-being of his fellow man. He was what some would call and “Old Soul” with a mighty spirit. He never raised his voice, but everyone listened.
As a botanist, ecologist, scientist, professor, and–above all else–a humanitarian, Fred loved people the world over. He spent his career trying to teach farmers and governments how to conserve soil and maintain the balance of nature so that the land could continue to provide for all life. His gentle spirit defined him; his devotion, wisdom, sense of humor, and commitment to humanity guided him. Fred was a man of nature and of God, who loved and inspired his fellow man everywhere. This is his story
