About the Book
Masako Tanaka is a Kyoto Japan fibre artist and award-winning haiku writer. In this compendium of her life's work, "MASAKO TANAKA: A LIFE'S WORK IN FIBRE & HAIKU." In her 40's Tanaka started to draw and it grew seeds of an artistic career that features embroidery, painting, and wax resist on silk, paper, and even 200 year old rice paper. Concurrently she began studying haiku. Her artistic endeavours have won awards in competitions throughout Japan. Text in English and Japanese.
